The disinfection cycle kills microbial flora with 50 seconds of effective contact time of Ozone, a grade III sterilient system.
UV-C (SPACE) lights are fixed as per ergonomics to provide maximum coverage of surface area of fabric / material ensuring suppression of shadow effect. This limits to least dead spots significantly.
Ozonation leads to oxidation of core DNA, RNA and even disruption of protein coat with Space (UV-C) exposure leads to advance oxidation process involving OH* completely sterilizing the item.
The initial cycle of sterilization works at oxidation potential of Ozone i.e. 2.07 V however once SPACE environment is created, the potential reaches to 2.80 (OH*) followed by recovery process. This process has minimum 1.2 higher oxidative potential than hydrogen peroxide, hypochlorite and chlorine.
Ozone has 0.8 mg.min/L while UV-C has 36 mW.s/ cm2 CT value to achieve log 3 reduction i.e. deactivation of viruses. The combination effect of complete cycle is optimized and standardized.
Rapidly diffuses in < 2mm opening. Get removed from the system within few minutes as compared to hours of degasing in hydrogen peroxide or Ethylene Oxide
Ozonated Space doesn't support combustion process.
Ozone is generated from air while UV-C lights have 8000 hrs of life practically works with no recurring cost. However, in tri-netra model, optional radical dispensing solutions can be taken for specific sterilization treatment involving Extreme Oxidative Process.
